2117 - Law and carhartt

For the ‘2117’ exhibition (LAW Magazine & Carhartt) debuting at the opening launch of the Carhartts WIP Store, London, a classic video wall of 9 screens was used, arranged to act as one big screen. The content provided featured numerous videos and images so I designed a playback order using Brightsign’s ability to sequence mixed content across the 9 individually programmed players, with enhanced sync keeping playback timing perfect. 

The big screen moments required a precise quality strategy in upscaling the videos to 4k to enable re-rendering them into 9 distinct HD video ‘chunks’ for each player to handle. The big screen moments were then in turn mixed with the individual videos shown in formations on different screens simultaneously, using the images and logos to break up the sequences  – presenting the content in as many varied ways as is possible with 9 screens!

Working with The Block – commissioned by Law Magazine and Carhartt WIP.  The exhibition and publication debuted at the launch of Carhartts WIP Kings Cross Store, London, and then toured to Spazio Maiocchi, Milan, 2018.
